Am I responsible for any costs not outlined in the proposal quote?
No, all costs are detailed in the proposal. There are no hidden fees or unexpected charges.
Do I need an SBC charge on my electric bill to qualify for the program?
No, having an SBC charge on your electric bill is not required to move forward with our projects or to qualify for rebates.
Will utilizing utility rebates affect my SBC charge?
No, leveraging rebates will not affect your SBC (Societal Benefits Charge).
Can you complete work on multiple buildings in my portfolio at the same time?
Yes, we have multiple crews actively working in the field and can handle simultaneous projects across multiple locations to streamline the process.
Can I see a finished facility to review the results before proceeding?
Certainly. We can arrange a visit to one of our completed projects to help you assess the quality of our work.
Do you take care of office lights?
Yes, we handle office lighting upgrades and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency. These upgrades are fully paid for by rebates, making them a cost-effective solution.
Do you do exterior lighting?
Yes, we specialize in exterior lighting solutions, including parking lots and building facades. These upgrades are fully paid for by rebates, ensuring no out-of-pocket costs.
How are the lights controlled, can they be dimmed?
Yes, the fixtures are dimmable and can be controlled through the app, offering flexible lighting options to suit your needs. Both dimming and wattage use are fully customizable via the app.
Can you add more lights than what we have existing?
Yes, usually we can, depending on the space. We can add lights to achieve a high foot candle height.
What quality fixtures do you provide?
We only provide brand name, high quality and DLC and UL certified. Every fixture comes with a 5 year warranty.
Do you provide the necessary equipment, such as lifts, for installation?
Yes, all required equipment, including lifts, is included in the proposal quote.
Do you handle garbage removal?
Yes, all garbage removal, including the disposal of old fixtures and bulbs, is included in the proposal quote.
Are old bulbs and fixtures disposed of properly?
Yes, we ensure that all bulbs and fixtures are disposed of in an environmentally responsible manner, following proper recycling and disposal guidelines.
Will my electric usage decrease with the new lighting? By how much?
Yes, you can expect a significant reduction in electric usage. Facilities typically save upwards of 50% on lighting energy costs, depending on factors like the wattage of your current fixtures and the use of motion sensors. We are happy to provide a detailed savings chart based on the findings from our audit.
If you are only charging $1 a fixture, how do you get paid?
We manage the rebate process on your behalf. Payment is made through the state rebate program for the completed work.
What happens if the rebate company doesn’t pay you for the work you did?
We take full responsibility for collecting the payment. If we don’t receive payment from the rebate company, you are not liable for the payment, and we will not come to you for the money.
